The Information Technology Support program is a comprehensive, non-credit competency-based education pathway designed to equip learners with the core and advanced skills necessary for success in entry-level IT support roles. The program covers essential areas such as installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computing devices, operating systems, networks, and security protocols. Aligned with CompTIA's A+ Core 1 and Core 2 certification objectives, this program prepares learners for globally recognized industry certifications, validating their competencies in hardware, software, networking, and customer service. The program consists of two key courses: IT501: Introduction to IT Support Core 1 (A+) and IT502: Introduction to IT Support Core 2 (A+), building progressively to develop learners' proficiency in supporting a range of IT systems and environments.
